Captain Derrick is awesome! He accommodated our specific requests. He was great with communication, friendly and kept us safe on our adventure. I highly recommend booking your charter with Blue Light Charters! We saw a ton of dolphins, many sharks and a gorgeous sunset.

Derrick is an awesome captain that takes his time teaching fishing techniques. I had a blast on both charters I have booked with him. We caught a variety of species and stayed on the fish. In the picture is three slot reds caught within 5 mins of each other.

We had an AMAZING experience on our private boat ride with our best friends. Derrick was a wonderful Captain: friendly, laid-back and knowledgeable. We got to enjoy the sunset on the Charleston Harbor, then Derrick was gracious enough to wait while we had a quite bite to eat at Shem Creek. It was the most memorable evening we’ve ever had in Charleston, and we look forward to being able to book with Derrick again in the future!!
