June 30th Fishing Report

Had a great time! Lost a couple big fish but where able to get a bunch over the rails! Live and cut Menhaden with 8-14oz of lead to stay on bottom. Pulled up and removed 1 old crab pot and rope and 1 anchor rope that had been snagged many times!

Today was beautiful! But that beauty came with a price, the first half of the afternoon resulted in 1 lost flounder and a stingray. with quite a bit of casting practice going on I decided to change things up entirely and run to the harbor to fish the structure. That's when the bite started! Lots of 12" black sea bass and ring tails felt like I was off shore...and then slammed by 36" red drum! A few puppy drums mixed in made for an exciting end to a windy blue sky day! Awesome group today!
